Welcome to The Hope Connection.
Our newsletter has been on pause for a while, but we’ve been working hard to bring it back to you. We’re delighted to be able to celebrate our students in this way again.
This has been an exciting year, and there’s still much more to come.
Here are just a few of the exciting happenings at Hope. See below for more.
Our mid-year Reception class has lots of fun, including learning through Jolly Phonics to improve reading skills and counting numbers one by one. They enjoyed story time with the Principal on Friday afternoons—and so did I.
Teams of Year 9 and Year 11 students are entering a competition about submarines. An engineer who works on the local submarines came to the school to give them some expert advice. If they win, they get a trip to see nuclear-powered submarines in Western Australia.
Mark your calendars for Open Day on Wednesday, November 1, and celebrate your child’s learning. There will be singing, dancing and music, cooking and science experiments—plus plenty of food, face painting and rides. No need to book, just come on down.
It is an event for the whole family, so I hope to see you there.
Blessings in the Lord Jesus,
Dominic Hopps
